Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is a big celebration it lasts 15 days each day has different meaning for example the Jade emperors birthday is on the sixth day.

Traditions like house cleaning and house decorating with red lanterns, banners and paper cuttings are to sweep away bad luck and scare away bad spirits.

During the festivals families share food, normally vegetarian food and use fireworks to scare away bad spirits and bad luck.

The lantern festival and the dragon festival are to guide the spirits back to the right place.

Chinese New Year is an important time to be with family and have good luck for the new year.

Hundertwasser

Hundertwassa was an Austrian artist he made creative, colorful and pick your own path type art.

He made the art by drawing a line two-thirds up and then drawing houses by using squares and rectangles as the house body and triangles as roofs you also had to add trees with swirls then you had to add another layer of buildings ,eyes, raindrops, windows and doors. The second to last step is to use pastels and colored pencils to outline and fill spaces and lastly use water colors.

I felt good and bad about some of it was boring and some was fun but it was more boring than fun.

Waitangi Weekend

On the Waitangi Weekend I played a thew game Roblox Fortnite and red dead redemption 2.

On some days I went to the forest to walk dogs and go for a bike ride. On Saturday I went swimming at QE2.

On most days I watched One piece on most days(a anime about pirates).
